Individual Career Planning and Coaching

Career Planning is a person-centered, comprehensive employment planning and support service that provides assistance for individuals to obtain, maintain or advance in competitive employment or self-employment. Coaching sessions are customized based on individual needs, and can include:
♠ Career Exploration
♠ Interests and skill assessment
♠ Finding a Job that Meets your Needs
♠ Resume preparation
Group Coaching

A 20-hour intensive program for individuals who are unemployed, underemployed or entering the job market for the first time addressing the social and behavioral differences that might make identifying, obtaining, and keeping a job more difficult.
♠ Small group meetings provide detailed, step-by-step instructions from identifying strengths and challenges that impact employment to career research, communication, resume preparation, networking and interviewing.
♠ Topics include: decoding the language of job postings; overcoming telephone interviewing phobia; how to navigate job interviews, answer common questions.
♠ How to Appropriately Communicate and Socialize at Work. Compose a resume and cover letter.
♠ Develop a realistic job search plan.
